
Defending CAA Women's Golf Champions Reveal 2025-26 Slate

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The six-time and defending CAA champion College of Charleston women's golf team has announced the upcoming slate of tournaments for the 2025-26 season.
"Coming off our best year ever, I wanted to challenge the team with a great schedule this year. I think we have done that with the schedule we have set," said head coach Jamie Futrell.
Charleston ended the campaign as CAA Champions for a record sixth time, having won four tournaments and earning the program's 11th appearance in a NCAA Regional.
The Cougars will host five tournament this season, including four in the Lowcountry and one in Asheboro, N.C. at Tot Hill Farm Golf Club. The team will travel to the Mason Rudolph Invitational in Nashville and the Illini Women's Invitational in the fall before ending the early portion of the season by hosting the annual Edisto Island Invitational.
Futrell's team will open spring play at the Spartan Sun Coast Invitational in Sarasota, Florida before hosting two back-to-back tournaments. The Cougars will play in the Clemson Invitational and Ironwood Invitational before aiming to defend their CAA crown at in Southport, N.C.
"The team will get to play some awesome courses this season against great competition. We always look forward to kicking off our season at home with the Cougar Classic at Yeamans Hall Club."
