Men's Soccer Travels to Davidson

CHARLESTON, S.C.- The College of Charleston men's soccer team will travel to North Carolina for their first road contest, facing Davidson on Monday, August 25.
The Cougars enter the matchup after a tight loss to in-state foe South Carolina in their season opener, falling 3-2. The Gamecocks opened the scoring at Patriots Point, tallying three goals on the night. Charleston's Ben Bagshaw and Hogan Walker found their first career goals in a late rally despite the loss.
CofC meets former SoCon rival Davidson for the first time since the 2012 season, where the Cougars downed the Wildcats in a 5-0 victory. Charleston currently holds the edge with a 3-2-1 record against Davidson.
The Wildcats enter the matchup after a 2-0 victory against CAA opponent Campbell to open up their 2025 campaign. Alonzo Clarke added the first goal of the night late in the first half, while Baylen Young doubled the Davidson lead with a second half tally.
Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. The matchup will be broadcast on ESPN+.
