CHARLESTON, S.C. - The College of Charleston women's golf team returns to action for their second tournament of the season at the Mason Rudolph Championship September 19-21 in Nashville, Tennessee at the Vanderbilt Legends Course.
The Cougars are coming off a sixth-place finish at the 2025 Cougar Classic. Charleston topped seven Power 4 schools and earned their highest finish at the annual event since 2022.
Adrian Anderson and
Carys Fennessy led the Cougar squad with top 20 finishes at T17 (-1). Anderson along with
Molly Hardwick (+3) paced Charleston during the final round, turning in matching 71 even par rounds. Fennessy had the overall low round for Charleston with a 67 in the second round, while
Raegan Propes and
Emilie von Finckenstein each turned in 69 rounds.
Four teams featured in the WGCA Preseason Poll will join the Cougars in Nashville, including No. 5 Arizona State, No. 14 Vanderbilt, No. 17 North Carolina, No. 21 Mississippi State
The Cougars are returning to the Mason Rudolph Championship for the first time since 2023. They will play the opening round with Georgia Southern and Louisville.
