RUSTBURG, Va. – No. 2 College of Charleston equestrian was defeated by No. 3 Lynchburg 6-4 Friday afternoon in the NCEA opener.

CofC and Lynchburg alternated points through the first two riders in fences with
Camilla Murray and
Olivia Lonneman picking up points for the Cougars. The Hornets grabbed the deciding point to head into the half up 3-2.

In flat, Lynchburg added to its lead, taking three of the first four points to secure the victory.

Olivia Lonneman was named MOP in the fences with a score of 88.
