CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Charleston women's tennis team will open its 2026 spring campaign with two matches in Georgia this weekend.
The Cougars will take on Georgia Southern on Friday afternoon before battling against the Mercer Bears on Saturday Morning.
"The squad has been working incredibly hard," Head Coach Angelo Anastopoulo said. "We're looking forward to playing outside competition. Georgia Southern is well coached and is always a challenging opponent. Last year, we were fortunate to win a thrilling 4-3 match against Mercer, and I'm sure their veteran coach, Eric Hayes will have them ready for revenge. This weekend will be a great test for us."
