
Women's Tennis Travels to Clemson to Face No. 21 Tigers

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Charleston women's tennis team is back on the road to face No. 21 Clemson on Saturday afternoon.
"This will be a great test against top-25 team," head coach Angelo Anastopoulo said. "Coach Boomer has done a great job building the team and has them playing with a lot of confidence. It will take our best effort to pull off the upset."

MATCHUP HISTORY VS. CLEMSON— The Cougars are in search of their first ever win against the Tigers in the D1 era.
SCOUTING THE TIGERS — The Tigers are ranked No. 21 in the country and are 6-2 this season with a ranked win over then-ranked No. 13 Pepperdine. Clemson has also beaten Kansas State and Kansas this year.
LAST TIME OUT – The Cougars suffered a 7-0 loss against Mercer back on January 24.
UP NEXT – The Cougars will be back in action on Wednesday, February 18 for a matchup at Presbyterian. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
