
Charleston Hosts Stetson and Randolph-Macon

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Charleston women's tennis team is set to host two matches at the Turner Tennis Center on Wednesday. The Cougars will first face off against Stetson at 1:30 p.m. before taking on Randolph-Macon at 5 p.m.

MATCHUP HISTORY VS. STETSON — Charleston is 5-2 all-time against Stetson, but the Hatters won the last two matchups between the two schools. The Cougars last defeated the Hatters in 2017.
SCOUTING THE HATTERS — The Hatters are 13-4 on the season and are on a 10-game winning streak. Stetson has not lost a match since February 22, but is 2-2 on the road this season.
MATCHUP HISTORY VS. RANDOLPH-MACON — This will be the first ever matchup between Charleston and Randolph-Macon.
SCOUTING THE YELLOW JACKETS — The Yellow Jackets are 6-3 on the year and are coming off a 6-1 loss at Guilford College last Saturday. Randolph-Macon is 1-1 in road contests this season.
AWARDS – The Cougars have earned two Coastal Athletic Association Doubles Team of the Week awards this season. Most recently, Oziera Ahmad and Riley Trinkle earned the honor on March 24 after going 3-0 on the No. 2 court and helping Charleston earn two conference wins. Sia Cariov and Francesca Salvato earned the award on March 10 after winning on court one and helping Charleston earn the critical doubles point in the Cougars 4-3 victory over the Buffalo Bulls on Friday.
LAST TIME OUT – The Cougars rolled through singles en route to a 5-2 win at Campbell at the Nisbet Tennis Center on Monday afternoon.
UP NEXT – CofC will be back in action on Wednesday, April 8 for a road match at Coastal Carolina. First serve us set for 2 p.m.
