
Women's Tennis Hosts Buffalo Friday Morning

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Charleston women's tennis team returns to Charleston as the Cougars are set to host the Buffalo Bulls on Friday morning. First serve is set for 10 a.m.
The team is excited to back playing at the Turner Tennis Center, Head Coach Angelo Anastopoulo said. Buffalo will be a tough opponent. They're the defending MAC Champions, and Coach Kristin is great coach and always has her team prepared.

MATCHUP HISTORY VS. BUFFALO — Charleston is 2-1 all-time against Buffalo. The Cougars won the first two matchups in 2015 and 2017, but the Bulls won the last match in 2018.
SCOUTING THE BULLS — The Bulls are a combined 13-3 during the fall and spring season. Buffalo has collected eight 7-0 sweeps but is coming off a 5-2 loss against Cornell last Saturday. Last season, Buffalo won the Mid-American Conference Tournament and advanced to the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
LAST TIME OUT – The Cougars secured two wins in Louisiana last weekend as Charleston swept Nicholls State on Saturday and defeated New Orleans 5-2 on Sunday.
UP NEXT – The Cougars will be back in action on Tuesday, March 10 for a home matchup against Samford. First serve is set for 1:30 p.m.
