Women’s Soccer to Host Northeastern in Midweek Bout

Charleston, S.C. - The College of Charleston women's soccer team will host Northeastern for a midweek bout on Thursday, September 24, at Ralph Lundy Field.
Charleston is coming off a 1-1 draw with William & Mary on Saturday, September 19.
The Tribe struck first, finding the back of the net in the second minute.
The equalizer from the Cougars came in the 37th minute, when Bella Antonio fired a shot to the top of the net on a pass from Maggie Wadsworth. The goal marked Antonio's sixth of the season, surpassing the senior's previous single-season career high.
Ainsley Chunn recorded four saves in the scoreless second half to bring her total to seven, tying her season-high saves in a match.
The Cougars enter the match on Thursday with a 3-4-3 overall record, and 0-0-1 in CAA play. The Huskies have an overall record of 3-4-2 and are 1-0 in conference after defeating Drexel 3-0 on Sunday, September 20.
The match will mark the 13th meeting in program history between Charleston and Northeastern. The Huskies hold the 9-2-1 advantage in the all-time series. Their last meeting was in 2025, when Charleston took away with the 2-1 victory in Brookline, Mass.
Thursday's match will feature a 'Pups on the Pitch' promotion, allowing fans to bring their dogs to Patriots Point. There will be a CofC tug toy giveaway at the gate (while supplies last).
