SOPHOMORE (2022-23)
- Defining performance in CAA semifinals vs. Towson where he went on a personal 14-0 run to help the Cougars regain the lead.
- Pulled down six rebounds in the regular season finale vs. Stony Brook, tying his career-high.
- Tied a career-high seven made free throws vs. Towson, going perfect from the charity stripes to lead the Cougars with 13 points in comeback win over Towson.
- Contributed 15 points on five triples at Elon.
- 12 points on four treys at Delaware, shooting 50% from behind the arc.
- Went 7-10 from three-point range for 27 points vs. Monmouth.
- 14 points and a season-high five assists vs. Elon.
- Hit a crucial three at Towson to help send the game to overtime before securing the game-winning steal off a Towson offensive rebounds
- Shot 50% from the behind the arc for 23 points at Coastal Carolina.
- Recorded his first career block vs. The Citadel.
- Season-high four rebounds vs. Kent State and ODU.
- Tied CofC single game 3-point record with 8 vs. Richmond while also scoring a career-high 29 points.
- Opened the season with a 24-point performance vs. Chattanooga, going 7-13 from the field and 5-10 from behind the arc.
FRESHMAN (2021-22)
- Had one of the best freshman seasons in program history, finishing with 386 points. In the last 30 years at CofC, only all-time leading scorer Andrew Goudelock, current NBA standout Grant Riller and Smith scored that many points as a rookie.
- Drained 90 three-pointers as a freshman, which led CofC and the CAA, and marked the most by a Cougar since 2010-11 and the 6th-most ever in a season in CofC history.
- The 90 3s also set an all-time school record for the most by a Cougar freshman in program history.
- His 2.8 3s per game average ranked third nationally among all Division I freshmen.
- Played in all 32 games, making 27 starts, and finishing with 12.1 points, 2.3 boards and 1.4 assists per game while shooting 38 percent from the field and from beyond the arc and 93 percent from the charity stripe.
- Led the Cougars in 2021-22 in total points (386), 3s (90), made free throws (78), free throw percentage (92.9) and 3-point percentage (37.5).
- His 12.1 PPG ranked 15th in the CAA while his 92.9 percent clip at the charity stripe ranked second.
- Scored in all 32 games, reached double figures a team-high 19 times and scored 20+ points in five games.
- Hit a career-high six threes in five different games, the most by any Cougar in any game in 2021-22.
- Made at least one three in 26 games, including at least three trifectas in 16 contests.
- Starting off his rookie season in historic fashion, averaging 15.6 points and 3.8 made 3s per game over the first nine games, winning CAA Rookie of the Week four times in four weeks during that stretch.
- Hit three 3s to finish with 11 points and two rebounds vs. Hofstra in the CAA Quarterfinal victory.
- Dished a career-high six assists and scored 19 second-half points on 5-of-7 shooting from beyond the arc at Hofstra.
- Hit six 3s to erupt for a game-high 22 points at Delaware.
- Broke CofC's all-time freshman single-season 3s record (Andrew Goudelock, 74) after draining four 3s and scoring 18 points at Northeastern.
- Hit a career-high seven FTs and had 15 pts. vs. Drexel.
- Posted 12 points and two steals vs. Northeastern and 14 points on three triples at William & Mary.
- Poured in a career-high 25 points on six 3s vs. William & Mary and has 56 3s on the season - 18 shy of CofC's all-time freshmen record.
- Nailed six triples on his way to 21 points at JMU.
- Bounced back in a big way with 17 points on five threes against UNCW.
- Made two triples and finished with 10 points and two rebounds a ODU.
- Led CofC with 15 points at Tulane. Made six more threes and went 6-for-6 from the FT line to finish with 24 points at Furman.
- Hit a career-high six threes and led Charleston with 22 points on 7-of-11 FGs vs. Tulane.
- Led CofC with 18 points on a career-high seven made FGs and added a career-best two steals at Chattanooga.
- Hit four threes en route to 15 points and grabbed a career-high five rebounds at Oklahoma State.
- Led Charleston with 19 points in an electric performance vs. No. 18 UNC, hitting five trifectas.
- Started CofC's first three games, scoring 9.0 PPG at the Rising Coaches Classic and draining six triples.
PREP
- Comes to CofC from Australia's Centre of Excellence at the Australian Institute of Sport.
- A sharpshooter, who Coach Kelsey describes as one of the better young shooters in the world.
- Has played at the highest levels of international competition, competing for the Australian National Team at the 2019 FIBA Oceania Championships, the U-20 2020 Australian National Championships and the 2021 FIBA U19 World Cup.
- Hails from Tasmania, where he averaged 20.7 PPG while shooting 49.9 percent from beyond the arc while repping his home territory at the 2020 Australian National Championships.
- Averaged 7.1 points and 1.3 boards at the FIBA U19 World Cup, including a 19-point outburst vs. Puerto Rico and a 12-point outing vs. Latvia.
