Biography
“Johnathan is the biggest pleasant surprise with the incoming freshmen. He is built like a defensive back. He hasn't shown any fear and really competes. It will be quite the backcourt between Canyon (Barry), Joe (Chealey) and Johnathan over the next four years. He is different than Canyon and Joe, but they all complement each other. Johnathan is more of a natural scorer. He has a knack for things and he will be a tremendous on-ball defender for us.” – CofC Head Coach Doug Wojcik
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated in 2013 from Ridgeway High School in Memphis, Tenn...Led the Roadrunners to a 30-4 overall record and a No. 2 overall city ranking as a senior under head coach Wes Henning…Finished the season as the third-highest scorer in the city of Memphis averaging 19.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.0 steals per game…Named District MVP and to the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) 3A All-District and All-State Teams…Also played AAU Basketball for Nike Team Penny (Hardaway) under the direction of head coach Todd Day.
