2009-2010: (Scoring Average: 79.33, Low Round = 76)
- Played in one tournament for the Cougars
- Tied for 78th at the Aldila Scenic City Invitational (77-76-85=238)
2008-2009: (Scoring Average: 79.14, Low Round = 74)
- Played in five tournaments for the Cougars
- Tied for 15th at the Stono Cup (75-74-74=223)
High School
- Graduated from Anderson High School
- In 2007 he played in 14 tournaments and finished in the top 10 in eight of them, which included a win at the AISD District 5A Golf Tournament and the Joe Balander Memorial
- He also competed in several American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) tournaments, finishing in the top 15 in all of them
- From 2005-2006, Pounds played in 16 events and finished in the top 10 in nine of them
- He tied for second at the Starburst Jr. Golf Classic after firing a 68 in the first round

On Pounds: Ben is a great kid. He needs to get a little more experience, but he is a couple tournaments from being right where we want him to be.
