Kaitlyn joined the MUSC Health Sports Medicine team in the summer of 2025 and works with women’s basketball and sailing at Charleston.
Originally from Minnesota, Kaitlyn attended Luther College in Iowa where she earned her bachelor’s degree in allied health and a minor in biology. While at Luther she was also a member of the women’s basketball team.
She then attended Eastern Kentucky University for her master’s degree in athletic training, and did her immersion at Ole Miss.
Before working at the College of Charleston she was at West Virginia University as the athletic trainer for the cross-country and track & field teams. Outside of work, Kaitlyn enjoys attending to various sporting events, hiking, going to the beach, and painting.
