Rebecca Frost is in her first season as a volunteer assistant coach with the College of Charleston volleyball program.
“I am excited to add Rebecca to our staff,” head coach Jason Kepner said. “It is great to have someone with experience playing middle in our gym. She is a positive influence on the girls and will fit in immediately on our staff.”
Frost joins the Cougar coaching staff following a two-year stint as the junior varsity coach and varsity assistant at Dreher High School in Columbia, S.C. Prior to beginning her coaching career, she spent two seasons as the starting middle blocker at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah where she helped the Badgers to their first regular season conference championship in 31 years in 2017.
The Provo, Utah native ranked among the top-20 nationally in blocks as a freshman in 2016 and helped the Badgers post back-to-back 20-win seasons for the first time during the rally scoring era. Frost is a mother to two girls and is also a full-time student at College of Charleston majoring in marine biology with a minor in environmental and sustainability studies.
