Named to the CCGSA All-State First Team, the CHSAA All-State First Team, and the Rocky Preps, Rocky Mountain News All-State First Team her senior year
Also played basketball and ran track in high school
Her track and field teams were 3A State Champions her freshman and sophomore years
Currently president of the Future Business Leaders of America at her high school
Member of the National Honor Society since her freshman year
Member of the All-State academic team for volleyball, basketball and track
USAA National Science Merit Award winner
Selected to participate in a summer leadership program at Colorado State University

Personal

Is the daughter of Marilyn Watson and the late Rocky Watson, and the stepdaughter of John Welfelt
Her uncle Jim Whiteside played football at Illinois from 1965-68, cousin Erin Whiteside played basketball at Cal-State Fullerton from 1999-2003, and cousin Kate Whiteside played basketball at Colorado State from 2000-04.
