The College of Charleston improves to 10-5 on the year, while Southern Mississippi falls to 4-9.
Or Dekel, ranked 91st in the nation, defeated David Canudas in straight sets 6-1, 6-1, while Marc Lux retired early to give Timo Siebert the victory at the number two singles. Third singles belonged to Bastian Moldehnke, who took the 6-2, 6-2 win over Christopher Rea. Arthur Peller defeated Juan Garzon 6-2, 6-2, while Reid Bourgeois picked up the lone win for Southern Mississippi with a 3-6, 6-4, 10-5 three-set win over Phillip Koller. Cougar Liran Kling used three sets to take the victory over Dylan Mezey at the number six singles 5-7, 6-2, 10-1.
The duo of Arthur Peller/Timo Seibert took the number one doubles with the 8-0 win over David Canudas/Dylan Mezey while Phillip Koller/Or Dekel defeated Thomas Funke/Juan Garzon 8-5. Cougars Liran Kling and Bastian Moldenhketook the third doubles match with the 8-4 victory over Southern Mississippi's Reid Bourgeois/Christopher Rea
The College of Charleston travels to Wofford Mar. 26th for a 10:00 AM match while Southern Mississippi goes up the road to Coastal Carolina Mar. 18th.
