Men's Tennis Sweeps Coppin State

BALTIMORE, Md. – The College of Charleston men's tennis team (2-3) swept Coppin State (0-3) at the Coppin State Tennis Courts on Friday evening.
Charleston took an early 1-0 lead as the Cougars won all three doubles courts. Leon Harder and Juan Diego Rojas Mora dominated court one (6-1), while Devin Ruhotina and Jake Smith teamed up for a 6-2 win in the No. 3 position and Dani Farran and Jakub Solarski earned a 6-3 victory on court two.
In singles, Leon Harder cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 win in position No. 1, while Jakub Solarski earned a 6-2, 6-1 straight set win on court two to put CofC in front 3-0. Dani Farran then clinched the match for the Cougars with a 6-1, 7-6 (3) win in slot No. 4.
Devin Ruhotina collected a 6-2, 6-2 triumph in position No. 6, while Juan Diego Rojas Mora defeated his opponent 6-4, 6-2 on court five and Jake Smith completed the sweep for Charleston with a 4-6, 6-1, 6-3 win in slot No. 3.
