CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston men's tennis team (1-3) earned a 5-2 win over Wofford (5-3) at the Turner Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon.

Charleston won the doubles point and took a 1-0 lead as Ram Mude and Jake Smith won 6-1 on court two and Leon Harder and Juan Diego Rojas Mora teamed up to win court three by a score of 6-2. Jakub Solarski and Eddie Vo were leading 5-4 in slot No. 1 when CofC clinched the doubles point.

In singles, Dani Farran cruised to a 6-4, 6-0 win in position No. 1, while Jake Smith earned a three set victory on court four (6-2, 3-6, 6-1) to put CofC in front 3-0. Ram Mude then clinched the match for Charleston with a 7-5, 6-4 two set win on court three. Wofford earned points on courts six and one, but Jakub Solarski earned the fifth point for the Cougars with a 4-6, 6-4, 7-5 victory in slot No. 2.
