The College of Charleston women's tennis team dropped a tough 4-3 decision to #73 Boston University on Mar. 17 at the Patriots Point Tennis Center in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
The victory improves Boston's record to 8-2 overall, while Charleston drops to 8-3.
The Cougars gained one team point by winning two out of the three doubles matches, but dropped four out of six singles matches for the loss.
CofC's Amanda Becker improved to 6-1 in singles play this season with a 6-2, 2-6, 6-4 win over Elizabeth Corrao of BU in the #6 singles match. Chelsea Albertz gained the other singles victory, a 6-3, 6-2 win over Erin Katims, for Charleston.
