The College of Charleston athletic department has announced that the 2009 softball media guide is now available for download online at www.CofCSports.com. This year's guide includes a number of features that provide all the information fans and media alike will need throughout the season and serves as a record of all past Cougar softball accomplishments.
Among the highlights in this year's 100-page guide are extensive player bios that include career stats, career-highs and yearly game-by-game stats for every player as well as multiple action pictures. Also included in the guide is a Southern Conference section that has season records, 2008 regular season and postseason results and a composite schedule of all nine Southern Conference teams.
A comprehensive records section provides game, single season and career records for individuals and the team as well as all-time results dating back to the program's first season in 1993. Additionally, complete game-by-game series records for every team the Cougars have ever faced are included in the section as are year-by-year stats for every player in program history.
The entire 2009 College of Charleston softball media guide is available for download by section at www.CofCSports.com on the softball home page. The guide will be available under the left hand link titled “Media Guide” and is also available through the link at the top of this article.
