BOONE, N.C. - College of Charleston women's tennis improved to 6-0 in the Southern Conference on Sunday with a 7-0 win over the Mountaineers at Appalachian State.

No. 58 CofC (13-8, 6-0 SoCon) earned victories in eight of nine matches on Sunday. Seniors Laura Borza (Toronto, Ontario/Mary Ward Secondary) and Anna Lee Evans (Vilas, N.C./Watauga) picked up their fifth win at the No.2 doubles spot with an 8-0 victory over Blakely Bean and Laura Janke. Senior Holly Dowse (Tuncurry, Australia/Forster) and sophomore Caroline Newman (Greensboro, N.C./Page) picked up an 8-1 victory at the No. 3 spot to clinch the doubles point.
