POSTGAME QUOTES
College of Charleston Head Coach Bobby Cremins
On the game ...
"I thought we had a great opportunity to get back in it (in the second half). We were right there knocking on the door. We just couldn't get over the hump. Davidson, of course, is very good. Bobby (McKillop) has them back playing great basketball. I'm not shocked. They are an outstanding team. We got off to a really bad start. We cut it to six (in the second half) and there was a ray of hope and then it kind of faded away quickly. There was some bright spots. Nori Johnson is a bright spot. It was the second game he started and he made some shots. We are still figuring some things out. I give Davidson a lot of credit. They are for real and they are solid. The big kid inside is playing some great basketball right now. (Jake) Cohen is something else. He has to be the leading candidate for (Southern Conference) Player of the Year."
College of Charleston Senior Forward Antwaine Wiggins
On the loss ...
"They got us on the rebounds tonight which put us down in the first half. We just need to improve on that. He (Davidson's Jake Cohen) played wonderful tonight. That's the best first-half performance I've seen all year. All the credit to him. They got a lot of their points off offensive rebounds. We are just trying to learn from every game."
College of Charleston Sophomore Guard/Forward Nori Johnson
On the loss ...
"They (Davidson) came out and executed. They have a pretty good coaching staff. We knew they would come out and run their stuff tonight and they did. We can't get outplayed every night. They outrebounded and outhustled us. They got every 50-50 ball. We can't let that happen, because it doesn't give us a good chance to win."
