
CofC Baseball Announces 2012 Winter Instructs Camp

The two-day camp will feature instruction along with live games, similar to the professional baseball instructional league. Saturday's schedule will run from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with morning instruction and afternoon games. Sunday will start at 9:30 a.m. and end at 4 p.m.
Participants will be evaluated in-game with instruction from JUCO, college Division I and professional levels, and mechanics will be taught with the right view pro computer analysis. Camp instructors will college coaches, scouts and current and former professional players.
Campers will get to meet with Michael Kohn, a former Cougar and current pitcher with the L.A. Angels, along with a pro scout and CofC coaches to learn about the college recruiting and professional draft process.
Space is limited to 55 campers and applicants will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. The camp cost is $300 for two days. Feel free to direct all questions to assistant coaches Matt Heath (heathm@cofc.edu) or Chris Morris (morrisc@cofc.edu).
