MT PLEASANT, S.C. – College of Charleston baseball returns home to play host to North Carolina A&T April 10-12 for a three-game conference series. First pitch Friday from Patriots Point is scheduled for 6 p.m.
Saturday is Kid's Day at Patriots Point. Young fans will receive a Charleston mini bat and can enjoy a petting zoo!
Celebrate the Master's Sunday at the ballpark. Fans will receive a Charleston golf towel.
To elevate the fan experience at Patriots Point, all concession stands and additional points of sale at College of Charleston baseball and softball contests will now operate as cash free points of purchase beginning April 2 when Cougar baseball hosts High Point.

FIRST PITCH:
- Charleston beat South Carolina, 6-4, Tuesday evening at Founders Park.
- CofC earned its second win over the Gamecocks in three attempts in the Chad Holbrook Era. Tuesday was the first game Holbrook has faced South Carolina at Founders Park since becoming head coach for Charleston.
- Freshman Austin Wiegandt went 4.0 innings in his first collegiate start, striking out six Gamecocks while yielding just one run on one hit and one walk.
- Sophomore Alex LaCoste continued his hot streak, driving in the first four runs of the game for the Cougars. LaCoste finished the contest 3-for-4 with two runs scored, four RBI and a home run.
- The sophomore has hits in 17 of his last 18 ballgames, is batting .386 (27-for-70) with six homers, 19 RBI, .686 slugging percentage and a 1.142 OPS.
- Redshirt senior Alex Lyon appeared in his 91st career game out of the bullpen Tuesday, putting him one shy of tying Nathan Ocker for second in school history.
- Graduate Dylan Johnson has collected hits in 14 of the last 18 contests, posting a .387/.506/.597 slash line in that span with seven doubles, two homers and nine RBI.
SERIES HISTORY:
- Charleston holds a 14-5 record versus North Carolina A&T and are 9-4 at home.
- The Cougars swept the season series last year in Greensboro by scores of 5-4 (10), 11-5 and 12-2 (8).
