POSTGAME QUOTES
College of Charleston Head Coach Earl Grant
On the game …
"That was a very physical game. I anticipated it being physical. It was the last game of the Great Alaska Shootout (for Alaska Anchorage) and a true road game. I knew it would be chippy, physical and low scoring. But, I'm really proud of our players for showing great character. There was some adversity in the game, because of a lot of different variables. To hold a good offensive team on their home court to 46 points, I thought was pretty impressive."

On several guys like Chealey and Riller stepping up for the team in the second half …
"The big thing for us was we wanted to be sound on defense and share the ball on offense. We wanted to share the responsibility with the scoring. We did a good job with 16 assists, being unselfish and making the extra pass. A lot of guys made big shots and made big plays. We had balanced scoring. That was our approach the entire game. We wanted to share the ball and be unselfish."

On what he thought the turning point was in the second half …
"In the middle of the second half, we made a couple of big shots and we kept getting stops. It was a low-scoring game, because they (Alaska Anchorage) were on offense for almost 28 seconds every possession. We made it hard for them to find an easy basket for most possessions. However, they did a great job on defense and making us work. I am happy we showed great character and found a way to win."
