Junior
Elif Caynak (Fort Mill, S.C.) and sophomore
Lauren Duffy (Alexandria, Va.) both won their class in Advanced Walk/Trot/Canter. It marked Duffy's first IHSA win of her career.

"This past weekend, we rode a few new freshmen that really stepped up to the challenge," CofC Head Coach
Natasha V. McCarthy said. "Although the team did not finish with either a first-or-second-place finish, overall the quality of the riding was superb and the team atmosphere among the entire travel roster was outstanding. The enthusiasm for this year's equestrian team is off-the-charts and we are looking forward to good times ahead."

CofC will next compete at the two-day Clemson Show on Oct. 13-14 at the Clemson Equine Center in Clemson, S.C.
