CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston men's tennis team (5-5) returns home on Wednesday, when they will host the Campbell Camels (7-4).
The women's team will host the Camels as well in a match starting at 1 p.m. The men's match will begin at the conclusion of that encounter.
CofC closed out their four-match road trip with two wins in Maryland against Coppin State and Washington College by scores of 7-0 and 6-1 respectively.
Benedikt Henning has been the most consistent player in the CofC lineup, with team-best records of 6-3 in singles and 7-0 in doubles.
Though the Cougars and Camels once shared a conference during the 1990s, the two teams have never met during the
Jay Bruner coaching era. Campbell has won four straight matches heading into Wednesday's action, and are a perfect 2-0 against Big South conference opponents on the year. Dustin Werner and Lorenz Schwab have the best singles records on the team, and the two have combined to go 4-1 in doubles play.
Admission to all home CofC tennis matches is free of charge.
