CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston Women's Soccer look to bounce back at home as they take on Hofstra on Sunday, Oct. 6 with kick-off scheduled for 1 p.m.
Last Outing
CofC lost its first conference match of the season in a 5-0 loss to UNCW on the road. Sophomore Hannah Farmer took a team-high two shots while junior keeper Meredith Holton logged a game-high five saves.
The Opponent
Hofstra is coming into the game with an 8-3-1 overall record and a 2-0-1 record in CAA play. The Pride have taken on two Top 25 opponents this year in No. 6 Penn State and No. 21 Rutgers, losing both by scores of 6-0 and 4-1, respectively. The Pride have big wins over Fordham, 6-1, and CAA foe Elon, 5-0. Head Coach Simon Riddiough is in the midst of his 14th season at the helm of the program, registering an overall record of 157-79-20 throughout his tenure.
