CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston Women's Soccer will play host to South Carolina State on Thursday, Oct. 10 with kick-off scheduled for 7 p.m. at Ralph Lundy Field at Patriots Point in Mount Pleasant, S.C.
Last Outing
CofC fell to Hofstra at home by a score of 3-0. The Cougars lost their second straight conference match, marking a 2-2 record in CAA play. Freshman Caitlyn Gonzalez logged a team-high two shots in the match while four other Cougars registered one shot.
The Opponent
The Bulldogs come into the match with a 2-9 overall record. Their most recent match resulted in a 2-1 win over Delaware State. Head Coach Sandra Burris is in the midst of her seventh season at the helm of the program and her 13th with the team. She has compiled an overall record of
19-77-6 as the head coach.

• Freshman Olivia Freitas leads the team with three goals and three game-winners while fellow freshman Grace Powell has logged two goals and one game-winner.
