CHARLESTON, S.C. --- College of Charleston will conclude its 2019 home schedule on Monday evening when the Cougars host the Hofstra Pride at 7:00 p.m. at TD Arena.
LAST TIME OUT
The Cougars fell to Northeastern in straight sets on Senior Night Saturday evening as Lauren Freed and Mandy Napierala combined for 22 kills and Logan Manusky posted her 10th 20-dig performance of the season. Charleston won the battle at the net with seven blocks including three in the second set as Northeastern totaled 50 kills and compiled a .213 hitting percentage as a team.
THE OPPONENT
Hofstra comes into Monday's match with a 16-9 overall record and a 9-4 mark in CAA play. The Pride rank second in the conference in kills per set (13.21) and third in service aces per frame (1.60). Senior setter Luisa Sydlik sits third in the league in assists per set (10.41) while Laura Masciullo ranks second in kills per frame (4.11).

- Four players are averaging more than two kills per set over the last five matches, led by seniors Lauren Freed and Mandy Napierala with a 3.05 clip each. Freed has posted two of her team-leading eight double-doubles in that span.
- Junior Logan Manusky has been a stalwart in the back row over the last five matches averaging a squad-best 5.50 digs per set. She has recorded 20 or more digs on 10 occasions this season including four in the last five matches.
- Freshman Logan Pope has been superb over the last five matches averaging 2.09 kills per set while hitting a team-high .302 in that stretch. She has reached double digits twice in the last three outings including a season-high 10 kills at Elon on Nov. 3.
- Four Cougars have recorded 13 or more blocks in the last five matches led by senior Peyton Eisnaugle with 20 (1.00/set). Freshman Emma Falk is averaging a squad-best 1.08 blocks in that span with 14 in 13 sets.
- Head Coach Jason Kepner, the Cougars' all-time wins leader, needs six victories to reach the 300-mark for his career.
