Charleston to Host Golf Classic and First Pitch Banquet

CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The College of Charleston baseball program will host its third annual CofC Golf Classic and First Pitch Banquet on Friday, January 31, 2020 and Saturday, February 1, 2020 announced head coach Chad Holbrook on Wednesday.
"The First Pitch Banquet gets our supporters and former players together, and creates so much excitement for our program," Holbrook said. "I have been amazed at the energy and generosity of our donors over the last several years, and this event goes a long way in helping us become an elite program. Opening day is right around the corner!"
The weekend will begin with the CofC Baseball Golf Classic on Friday, January 31 with an 11:00 a.m. shotgun start in captain's choice format at The Links at Stono Ferry. Participants will include Coach Holbrook and his staff as well as distinguished baseball alumni and ardent supporters of the program.
The First Pitch Banquet will follow on Saturday, February 1 in TD Arena. A cocktail reception will precede the banquet at 6:00 p.m. Attire is business casual and entertainment will feature performances by singer/songwriter Charlie Worsham, Jenny Gill and other special guests as well as a live and silent auction.
Interested participants have multiple registration options:
Fans and friends of the program can also register a foursome in the CofC Baseball Golf Classic for $500 which does not include admission to the First Pitch Banquet. Tickets to only the First Pitch Banquet are $75 per person.

- Stadium sponsorship for $5,000 (includes foursome in CofC Baseball Golf Classic and hole sponsorship, Peter Millar CofC golf shirt for each player, reserved table for eight at the First Pitch Banquet and VIP Concert access, Champions Club membership, admission for two to the Diamond and Pearls Oyster Roast and Outfield Tailgate, a CofC baseball hat and team autographed ball, dinner with the coaching staff at Hall's Steakhouse, pre-game and on-field team meeting access and four tickets to a Cougar home game)
- Diamond Club sponsorship for $3,500 (includes hole sponsorship, a foursome in the CofC Baseball Golf Classic, reserved table for eight at the First Pitch Banquet and VIP Concert seating, pre-game and on-field team meeting access and four tickets to a Cougar home game)
- Coaches' Club sponsorship for $2,500 (includes practice range sponsorship, a foursome in the COFC Baseball Golf Classic, and a reserved table for eight at the First Pitch Banquet)
- Gold sponsorship (Banquet only) for $1,500 (includes a reserved table and recognition at the First Pitch Banquet – does NOT include golf)
- Maroon sponsorship for $1,500 (a foursome at the CofC Baseball Golf Classic, signage on the course, recognition at the First Pitch Banquet and general admission for eight to the First Pitch Banquet)
Fans and friends of the program can also register a foursome in the CofC Baseball Golf Classic for $500 which does not include admission to the First Pitch Banquet. Tickets to only the First Pitch Banquet are $75 per person.
