MT PLEASANT, S.C. – College of Charleston baseball hosts USC Upstate for a non-conference midweek April 14. First pitch from Patriots Point is set for 6 p.m.
To elevate the fan experience at Patriots Point, all concession stands and additional points of sale at College of Charleston baseball and softball contests will now operate as cash free points of purchase.

FIRST PITCH:
- Charleston swept North Carolina A&T to extend its winning streak to five games.
- CofC walked off the Aggies Friday with a bases loaded free pass for the 6-5 victory.
- The Cougars then took game two, 6-4, before sealing the sweep with a 10-5 win Sunday afternoon.
- With the win Saturday, head coach Chad Holbrook passed Monte Lee for the second-most wins in school history with 277.
- Charleston stole 21 bases over the weekend and tied the program record with 10 bags Saturday.
- Three different Cougars collected three stolen base games versus the Aggies, including graduate Reece Holbrook, who captured his second of the season.
- Sophomore Alex LaCoste now has hits in 20 of the last 21 ballgames and batted .467 (7-for-15) with eight RBI and four stolen bases in Charleston's 4-0 week.
- Freshman Austin Wiegandt picked up his second career win Sunday, striking out five in 3.2 innings of one-run relief.
- Redshirt senior Alex Lyon tied Nathan Ocker Saturday with his 92nd career appearance. Lyon tossed 4.0 innings to earn his second save of the campaign.
SERIES HISTORY:
- Charleston is 8-5 all-time versus USC Upstate and 5-3 at home.
- The Cougars have won the last two ballgames, including last year's 7-5 win May 13.

- Charleston travels north to take on William & Mary in a three-game conference series April 17-19.
