CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston Women's Basketball is set to make a short drive to face off against crosstown foe Charleston Southern on Friday, Dec. 20, with tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.

CofC's late comeback attempt was cut short by UNCG as the Cougars fell by a score of 69-56 on Monday, Dec. 16. Sophomore
Latrice Perkins led all Cougars in scoring with 14 points, while sophomore
Tyler Collins was a close second with 11 points. After the Spartans went on a 16-2 run during the first quarter, Perkins sparked an 8-2 run to start the second to cut the UNCG lead to single digits. UNCG followed that up with a 12-2 run to end the half, leading 44-25. Senior
Baileigh Larson provided a spark coming off the bench, logging a season-high eight points that guided the Cougars to a 13-2 run. The Spartans eventually ran away with the game, knocking down free throws to seal the deal at the end of the fourth.
