The Short Story: Cougars fell to Georgia Southern as a result of two early goals in each half in the conclusion of the Aaron Olitsky Memorial Soccer Classic.

• Georgia Southern took the lead early in the first half and never looked back.
• Cahill and Murray had a chance to score the equalizer in the 17th minute after Cahill's shot was deflected by the Eagles keeper and Murray's shot hit the post in unlucky fashion.
• Just two minutes into the second half, Georgia Southern found the back of the net to extend its lead to 2-0.
• Murray tried to cut the lead in the 61st minute but his shot went just high of the top crossbar.

The Cougars are set to travel to Wilmington, N.C. to take place in the UNCW Classic on Friday, Sept. 6 at 4:30 p.m. followed by a match on Sunday, Sept. 8 against Radford at 12 p.m.
