• Freshman Chatham Headrick forced the first save of the match for Hofstra in the 20^th minute when he rocketed a ball from outside the 18-yard box.
• Alstrom logged the first save of the match in the 20^th minute to keep the match scoreless.
• Hofstra scored the first goal of the game in the 42^nd minute on a converted penalty kick.
• In the 72^nd minute, Hofstra scored its second goal of the match when a ball was put into the right side of the box from around midfield, crossed into the middle of the box and put away into the back of the net.
• The Pride took a 3-0 lead in the 78^th minute when Petter Soelberg put a ball in from around 25 yards out.
