CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston Men's Soccer will travel to Raleigh, N.C. to face off against NC State on Tuesday, Sept. 17 with kick-off schedule for 7 p.m.
Last Outing
The Cougars were defeated by Hofstra at home on Sept. 14. By a score of 3-0. CofC took 10 shots and three shots on goal but couldn't find the back of the net against the Pride. Rio Murray took a team-high three shots while Kevin Harris, Tucker Heffron, Zach Clements, Mads Myllerup, Chatham Headrick, Jake Nicholson and Carlos Reyes took one each.
The Opponent
NC State finished the 2018 season with an overall record of 10-7-3 and a conference record of
2-4-2. This season, the Wolfpack have logged a 3-1-1 overall record and a 1-0-0 record in ACC play. Their three wins came from Loyola, Longwood and Boston College. Head Coach George Kiefer is in the midst of his third season at the helm of the program. The team is led by Pablo Pedregosa, leading the team with two goals.
