CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston Women's Soccer returns home after a two-game road stint to face off against Jacksonville on Friday, Sept. 20 with kick-off scheduled for 7 p.m. at Patriots Point in Mount Pleasant, S.C.

Last Outing
CofC won its second consecutive match on the road in a 2-0 win over Charleston Southern. This marks the 19^th straight year that CofC took home the Silver Cup. Freshman Caitlyn Gonzalez and sophomore Mary Waters scored the two goals for the Cougars in the 75^th and 84^th minutes, respectively. The College dominated on offense, shooting 23 times compared to CSU's 15.

The Opponent
Jacksonville recorded an overall record of 1-14-1 and a 1-7-0 in ASUN play. This season, the Dolphins are seeking their first win of the season as they have logged a 0-5-1 overall record. JU lost by a score of 1-0 to Troy in its most recent matchup. Head Coach Laura Busby is in the midst of her first season at the helm of the program. Freshman Olivia Abdallah leads the team in scoring, logging the only two goals of the season for the Dolphins.

• Sophomore Hannah Farmer has recorded a team-high two goals and dished out one assist in a 4-1 win over Winthrop.
• Seniors Rachel Kim and Talia Colchico, juniors Maddie Cybulski, Katrina Koomen and Haley
Mannetta, sophomore Mary Waters, along with freshmen Caitlyn Gonzalez, Grace Powell and Olivia Freitas have logged one goal each
this season.
• Kim was named to the CAA Preseason All-Conference Team.
• The all-time series between the Cougars and the Dolphins stands at 6-3-0, in favor of the
Cougars, with the last meeting ending in a 4-0 win for CofC on Sept. 17, 2017.
• Head Coach Christian Michner needs 8 wins (79) to tie former Head Coach Kevin Dempsey's record for the most wins in program history (87).
