HARRISONBURG, Va. --- Mandy Napierala led the way with eight kills and two blocks as College of Charleston fell to James Madison in straight sets on Saturday afternoon in the Cougars' first Colonial Athletic Association match of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Dukes registered nine more kills than the Cougars in three less attempts, and collected eight blocks while holding the Cougars to a .045 hitting percentage. James Madison's offense combined for 39 kills and a .178 hitting percentage as Briley Brind'Amour put down a match-high 10 kills. The Dukes finished with five service aces compared to two for the Cougars as Charleston's defense registered seven blocks.

COUGAR OF THE MATCH
Redshirt freshman Claire Campbell collected four kills on 11 attempts without an error while accounting for a team-high five blocks.

NOTABLES

Campbell posted her third match of the season without an attacking error.
Napierala paced the offense with eight kills and added two blocks.
Freshman Caroline Bower set a season-high with seven kills on 21 swings.
Redshirt junior Meghan Murphy chipped in three kills, three digs and two blocks off the bench.
Junior libero Logan Manusky accounted for 13 of the Cougars' 42 digs.
Sophomore setters Amani Dunston and Brooke Harris dished out 16 and 12 assists respectively.
Senior Lauren Freed contributed nine digs, five kills and her team-leading 19^th ace.
