MT. PLEASANT, S.C. --- The College of Charleston beach volleyball team played to a 2-2 tie with Jacksonville in the morning session before falling to Coastal Carolina, 5-0, in the final match of the CofC Invitational on Sunday at the Creekside Tennis & Swim Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Cougars and Jacksonville split flights one through four in the morning session to finish tied at 2-2 after both teams were unable to field a pair at No. 5 due to player availability. Charleston then fell to Coastal Carolina, 5-0, in the final match of the day.
 
PAIR OF THE DAY
Ella Reames and Maria Zweig delivered a 21-15, 21-16 victory at two's against Jacksonville to help the Cougars bounce back from a 2-1 deficit to salvage a tie. The duo then dropped a closely contested 22-24, 19-21 battle against Coastal Carolina.
