ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. --- Senior
Marian Williams skippered College of Charleston to a 12-point win in B-Division to set the tone for the Cougars at the SAISA Women's Championship on Saturday as Charleston cruised to a 25-point win over Jacksonville. The Cougars also finished first at North Points #5 to claim their second win of the weekend.

Roxanne Snyder finished the eight-race regatta with 20 points in B-Division thanks to six top-three performances including three consecutive wins in races five through seven. Senior
Paris Henken skippered the Cougars to 19 points and a first-place finish in A-Division alongside crew
Lucy Klempen.
At North Points #5 in Charleston, freshmen
Max Anker and Kaela Woodard won all but one of seven races in a dominating performance in B-Division. Fellow freshmen
Axel Stordahl and
Chloe Hudgins won A-Division by six points to help the Cougars win the regatta by a comfortable 14-point margin.
Charleston returns to the water next weekend for Charleston Race Week. The Cougars will resume intercollegiate competition the following weekend when they host the SAISA Team Race Championships on Saturday, April 17 and the SAISA Fleet Race Championships on Sunday, April 18 at the J. Stewart Walker Sailing Complex.
