CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The College of Charleston women's soccer team (1-6-1) returned home after a four game road trip to host the Georgia Bulldogs (7-1) on Sunday at Patriots Point. A second half goal lifted the Bulldogs to a 1-0 victory. 

In the 51st minute, Georgia senior Mollie Belisle scored her nation leading 10th goal of the season to give the visitors the lead. It would be the only score of the match.

• Senior goalkeeper Meredith Holton recorded 11 saves, a career high 
• Sophomore Hannah Stanhope came off the bench to lead the Cougars in shots and shots on frame
• Freshman Mary Alexander has now attempted a shot in six straight matches

• Holton moves into seventh all-time on the list of career saves at the College of Charleston
• The Cougars held the Bulldogs to just one goal, which tied the season low for Georgia
• Georgia had scored at least three goals in all of their victories prior to Sunday's match
