CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston plays a pair of road games this week that will go a long way in determining its postseason chances when the Cougars visit Stony Brook on Thursday and Hofstra on Sunday.
Kickoff for the game against CAA newcomer Seawolves at LaValle Stadium is at 6 p.m. The match is the first between the two teams.
The Cougars enter the road trip with seven points and are in ninth place in the CAA standings, one point behind Stony Brook, while Hofstra has five points and is tied for 10th. The top eight teams at the end of the regular season qualify for the conference tournament which begins on October 27 on campus sites.

Stony Brook erupted for four goals against Drexel in its last outing but had to settle for a 4-4 draw. The Seawolves are 5-7-3 and 2-2-2.
Grace Powell continues to lead the Cougars with eight goals and 18 points, ranking in a tie for third and fifth, respectively, in the CAA. Faith Slimmer assisted on the goal against Elon and has six on the year to place in a tie for second in the league.
Reilly Rich paces the Seawolves with seven goals and 18 points. Linn Beck and Hannah Maracina both have five goals, and Catharina von Drigalski is the team leader with six assists.
