
Cougars Rally From Down 3-0 to Beat Coastal Carolina, 4-3

CONWAY, S.C. -- The College of Charleston women's tennis team (2-3, 0-0) erased a 3-0 deficit to win at Coastal Carolina on Wednesday afternoon in Conway.
The Cougars dropped the doubles point and lost its first two singles matches, giving the Chanticleers a commanding 3-0 advantage. Charleston wouldn't blink, though. The Cougars then picked up victories from Maja Jekauc (7-5, 6-3) and Slade Coetzee (7-6, 7-6) to pull within 3-2. Coetzee improved to a perfect 5-0 in the one position, while Jekauc moved to 4-1 with her victory.
After a win by Elizabeth Nowak (1-6, 7-6, 6-3), it all came down to Halli Trinkle's match. After splitting the first two sets, it came down to the wire. Trinkle would win the final set, 6-3, and the Cougars claimed the comeback victory.
