
Charleston Travels to Stetson on Saturday

CHARLESTON, S.C. -- The College of Charleston women's tennis team (3-3, 0-0) heads to the Sunshine State this weekend to face Stetson (0-1, 0-0). First serve is at 10:00 a.m. in DeLand, Florida.
The Cougars are coming off a 4-1 victory over New Orleans. The Privateers were on a six-match winning streak before it was snapped by the Cougars. Although the Privateers gained early momentum with a doubles victory, it didn't take long for the Cougars to take over in singles. Maja Jekauc engineered a 6-3, 6-2 victory at flight three and Kate Earnhardt won 6-1, 6-4 at flight four to seal the victory.
Charleston was scheduled to play Presbyterian on Wednesday, but the match was canceled.
