BUIES CREEK, N.C. --- College of Charleston volleyball fell in three sets to CAA newcomer Campbell Saturday afternoon on the road (25-22, 25-19, 25-9).
Â
Charleston's trio of
Lexi Wierzbicki,
Anna Smith and
Sopheea Mink had six kills but Campbell got double digit kills from Gwen Wolkow (14) and Melody Paige (10) to hit .374 against a stout Charleston defense that led the league in opponent attack percentage through the first eight matches.
Â
Tynley Smeltzer had 16 digs once again to keep her streak of nine-straight matches with at least that many alive and
Sofie Vogel had three blocks, but it wasn't enough to keep the home Camels from coming out on top.
