
Match Against Queens Begins Three-Game Homestand for Cougars

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston begins a three-game homestand on Tuesday when Queens visits for a 7 p.m. kickoff at Ralph Lundy Field.
The Cougars also host Stony Brook on Saturday and Georgia Southern next Tuesday. Charleston plays six of its final eight games of the regular season at home.
The Cougars dropped two one-goal decisions last week, but Leonardo D'Ambrosio had a big week with a goal and assist against Duke and another helper against Monmouth.
D'Ambrosio is tied with Peter Thomas for the team lead with three goals and tops the Cougars with four assists and 10 points. Iker Carew scored his first goal of the season against the Hawks.
Queens is 1-6-2 with a win over Winthrop in its season opener. The game is the first all time between the Cougars and Royals.
