CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston baseball finishes their four-game road swing Tuesday as they head to Clemson for a Tuesday afternoon battle with the Tigers. The Cougars and Tigers split a pair of midweek games last season with Clemson taking the first in a 2-1 pitcher's duel and Charleston claiming the second game at SEGRA Park in Columbia.

Charleston is coming off a 2-1 series win at William & Mary that saw the win streak reach as high as 10 with Saturday's 2-1 series-clinching win. The final three contests of Charleston's 10-game win streak came by the exact same 2-1 final score – the finale of the Longwood series and first two contests in Williamsburg against the Tribe.

Clemson is on a five-game streak of their own having most recently swept Georgia State at home over the weekend scoring 29 runs in the process. The Tigers are 10-3 at Doug Kingsmore Stadium this season and have won six-straight at home since a series loss to UCF the second weekend of the season.

Charleston is looking for their second Power 5 win this season as well as second ACC win after taking down then-No. 14 Virginia Tech 5-2 on Opening Night from Patriots Point. The Cougars and Tigers meet again in exactly two weeks in Columbia, S.C. with Charleston as the designated home team in a neutral site affair.
