AIKEN, S.C. - The College of Charleston equestrian team earned the year end reserve high point team on Saturday in their final show before Sunday's regional competition. 

Kathryn McCarthy shined for the Cougars by advancing to Zone 5 Finals to represent Region 3 in the Cachionne Cup. She was also the High Point rider of the day and qualified for regionals in Open Flat. Caroline Berg joined McCarthy by qualifying in Intermediate Over Fences.  Additionally, One of our beloved horses Reggie passed away on Monday. He was voted Horse of the Year by the coaches at the competition.
