Four Cougars Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Four College of Charleston baseball student-athletes earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors – Cole Mathis, Emmett Bice, William Privette and Will Baumhofer.
Bice was named a CAA 2022-23 Institutional Male Scholar-Athlete Award winner for his excellence in the classroom.
The Academic All-District honors are the first for all four Cougars.
The 2023 Academic All-District Baseball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom.
The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes baseball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced June 7. The CSC Academic All-District teams include the student-athletes listed on the following pages.
