CHARLESTON, S.C.- College of Charleston women's tennis kicked off their 2024 season defeating Queens BLANK at home on Saturday.
The Cougars started off the day strong, taking the doubles point to lead 1-0. Peyton Brotzman and Klara Vukicevic were the first to finish with a 6-0 score. Maggie Cubitt and Halli Trinkle secured the doubles point with a 6-4 set.
Five Cougars won their single matches to secure the win for Charleston, all winning their matches in just two sets. Oziera Ahmad was the first to finish, securing a dominant win 6-2, 6-1. Jaiden McKee and Elle Bredemann each finished their final sets 6-0.
